MOTHERS MILK TEA

• Recommended use: Traditionally used in herbal medicine as a galactagogue to help promote lactation in breastfeeding women.

  Directions for use: Breastfeeding women: Pour 250 mL of freshly boiled water over 1 tea bag in a cup and steep, covered, for 10 minutes. Gently squeeze the tea bag to release any remaining extract. Drink 1 cup 3-5 times daily.

  Duration of use: Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond 2 weeks.

Cautions: Consult a healthcare practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.

Contraindications: Do not use if you are allergic to plants in the Apiaceae/Carrot family, or plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy family. Do not use if you are pregnant.

Adverse reactions: Hypersensitivity (e.g., allergy) has been known to occur (rare cases); in which case discontinue use.
